My impression of Toronto

Hi, everyone! I want to tell about my impression of Toronto.

I have been here for two months and a week. It’s not first trip to other country, but I left from my parents for the first time. Before I came to Toronto, I thought there were a lot of Europeans and Americans. I also thought I didn't eat Japanese food easily. However, I really surprised because there are a lot of Asian, and there are a lot of Asian food. I can eat Japanese food easily. I’m really happy. In addition, many people are kind in Canada. When I got on a train, a young man gave his seat to a woman who was taking her children. If the woman was the elderly woman, the young man would have to give his seat to her. In Japan, some kind people give their seat to elderly people, but it’s not many people. We seldom see the situation which people give seat to a woman taking her children in Japan. Therefore, Toronto is very nice city, and Canadian people are very kindness. I’m really glad to come here.

How about your impression of Toronto?

See you tomorrow. Have a good night :)

  1. I remember that the first time I arrived at Canada was a cool night and I found that there were a few people in the street so it was so quiet. It made me felt a little strange because it was so different from my country! To be honest, I felt I came to a big countryside at that time. Anyway, I love this country and I am happy to live in Toronto.

  3. The same here~~ I arrived in Canada on the 13th of Oct, 2010. It was cold and windy. I was wearing a T-shirts and shorts with slippers when I took off the airplan. It was at the midnight, and the street was silent, I just watched this city and began to miss my home. It is much better now, I met friends, my English is much better than before and the people who live here are very nice and kind as you said. I think Toronto's great, clean, quiet and safe. I am happy to be your classmate:)too.
