The Reb Lobster Experience!

Hi everyone,

I want to share with you what I did on Friday night to practice my English and have a very good time.

After class ended at the University, my husband Andrew and I decided to go out for dinner because we were hungry and a little bit tired to cook at home. However, we did not want to eat traditional food based on chicken or beef, we really wanted to taste something different like sea food. Then, we decided to visit an amazing restaurant named Red Lobster. It is located at 3200 Dufferin Street, near to Yorkdale Shopping Centre and our residence. When we arrived at the restaurant there were many people at the waiting area talking and waiting for a table. We reserved a table for two and we took seat in the waiting area. While we were waiting at the restaurant, Andrew decided to explain me about the Higgs boson or Higgs particle, also known as the “God Particle” which is an elementary particle in the Standard Model of physics. I did not want to listen about the Higgs boson because I didn't understand the fundamentals parts of the model. Although it was difficult to understand, Andrew explained the physics model to me clearly using a simple language. It was interesting to know a little bit more about science and my husband's job. After half an hour the waitress guided us through the dining room until our table in the corner of the restaurant. The place was amazing for three main characteristics that I observed.  The first one, all the tables were decorated with the finest dinnerware, and tabletop supplies. The second one, the soft low lighting helped to create a feeling of comfort, and privacy. The third one, the classical music gave us a feeling of being physically relaxed. Then in our table, we decided to order two signature dishes, the Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops for me, and Seaside Shrimp Trio for Andrew. Before we started to eat I took two pictures of the dishes to share with you because it was a great experience to practice my English and knew a different place.

Definitely, I recommend Red Lobster because the food and drinks were high quality; the friendliness of staff was great, the atmosphere of restaurant unique, and the speed of service reasonable.
