The economic stress affects the young people in Canada.

Hi everyone,

I want to discuss about an interesting article from the Toronto Start newspaper published today, Monday November 05, 2012. The article states the effect that employment has on mental and physical well being of Canadian people, taking as a reference the 2012 Canadian Health Index Report wrote by Sun Life Financial. The research found that the Canada's weak economic recovery four years since the financial crisis of 2008 is a driver of high stress levels in the young population. As a result, 90% of people between 18 and 24 years of age feel excessive stress in Canada compared to 72% of all adult in the country. The fact is worrying because young people is carrying all the pressure of a weak economy to "find permanent full-time jobs that suit their skills and area of study" noted Louis Theriault, director, health economics at the Conference Board of Canada.

  1. As for this issue, I believe that young people need to do something to help themselves reduce the pressure from the society. Sometimes, people can think optimistically about this peoblem, and figure out the best way to solve them.
